If you (the sponsor) will receive correspondence for, or act in any way
on behalf of your spouse
, partner, or dependent child over the age of
18, the person you are sponsoring (and each represented family
member over 18) must complete a Use of Representative form
[IMM 5476] (PDF, 648.31 KB) authorizing you as their representative.

I posed this question a while ago but had no response.I will try to be more specific than my last query.
I am the sponsor and my wife is still in her country. On the IMM5669 background declaration we needed to explain why my wife had been denied entry to another country. She related the events to me and because my wife's English is slightly limited I wrote it for her in clearer English. Does this mean that I have acted as her representative? Do I need to fill out a 5476? Thanks for any help.

No, that doesn't make you her rep.
