I recently got into the University of Manitoba in MSc Mechanical Engineering and am now in the process of applying for my study permit.
My query is regarding the Financial proof stipulation of the study permit requirements. I am being sponsored by my employer which is an international company present in 3 countries. The employer would provide me with a sponsorship letter for the visa application but they are not willing to provide bank statements since the company considers it to be confidential information.
So my question is that is a sponsorship letter or affidavit enough to fulfill the financial proof requirement?
Also, I did my bachelor's from The University of Nottingham in Malaysia and the UK and that was also fully sponsored by my employer including living and tuition.

The problem is that I’m not paying even one cent from my side. Everything from tickets to tuition fee and living is being covered by the sponsor. And their letter or affidavit would state so. Is it required of me to give my statements even though I’m not paying for anything?
