I got my ppr in October and my immigration visa will expire on April. I have some doubts. My landing is still pending as I came Back home for marriage. At the moment I’m not in Canada and I have only immigration visa and my work permit is expired. If I’ll come back to Canada with only immigration visa then will I face any problem during my immigration interview?
That is the purpose of the immigration visa, to enter Canada and land as a permanent resident. Do not worry that your work permit has expired. It is actually good that you left Canada as staying there with an expired work permit would not be good. But that depends on when you received your PR visa (immigration visa).
Anyway, you should be fine as long as you enter before the expiry of the PR visa. Please note that only you can land, not your spouse, now that you are married, as he/she was not part of the original PR application to begin with.
Thanks for your reply but the thing is that she also get ppr and she has the same kind of visa on her passport. Her visa will also expired on same day. And I came for my cousin marriage. I got married in last year and I add her name on my file when I got invitation. So if she will come with me then it’s ok ?
