Hi,
I have a PR application pending. I do have a TRV for Canada valid until next year. I have to travel urgently on a business trip to Canada. Would my pending PR application cause any issues by the officer at port of entry? This is my second trip to Canada. The first time was before i applied for PR and stayed there for less than a month. Any suggestions ?
Thanks a lot in advance.

When you arrive on TRV, at any airport or crossing the boarder for Canada, the oficer is not going to ask you whether you have files an applcation for immigration.abou You don't have to discuss about that subject. As lng as you have a valid TRV, you can visit Canada and should be back in the place from where you applied for medical, for interview if required by visa office and for passport submission. You should make arrangement for getting any letters or information from the visa office accordingly while you are out of country.

The IO may not ask, but they are very likely to know. If they do ask, the OP should be truthful about it.
Thanks Baloo,
Ofcourse if they do ask i wud tell them the truth. I was just making sure that it wudn't necessarily cause issues for me.
