Hi as part of their path to citizenship my in-laws rec'd "NOTICE TO APPEAR - FOR VERIFICATION OF IDENTITY/DOCUMENTS" letter asking for a meeting next month. They are both over 55 and their papers have been in order.
What is the purpose of this letter/meeting? Is this sop? look forward to your replies.
It's completely normal. If they were under 55 they would be writing the test on this date AND having their documents verified. Since they are over 55, they only have to have their documents verified.
