Help please!

I’m really worried because I just made a really horrible mistake, so I thought I could work full time once my exams were over and school closed once classes ended, but I got an email on Friday after I had exceeded my 20hours that you can only work full time hours starting from the 25th December, I have obeyed it diligently till now and I’m so sad because it was an honest mistake and now I don’t know what to do or how it will affect me because I plan to apply for PGWP, I am so worried please, I was thinking of messaging my boss to help me adjust it but I don’t know if that will make the situation even worse, if anyone has been in this sort of situation or has an idea on what I could do, I would really appreciate it, thank you!

Who was the email from? IRCC? Your employer?

No it was just a regular school email, they normally send it out to international students so it wasn’t specifically directed at me.

So I spoke to my boss and they said that they will update my paystub on the system, but I don’t know how well this fix will work, because if I still got paid for the extra hours that won’t match up with my hours at all and I’m worried it’ll make the situation even worse.
