Q # 11
Since you arrival date in Canada , for each family member s of your immediate family (e.g. Spouse Common-law-partner, children) provide legal citizenship/immigration status in the country they reside, please include the status in Canada (if no status, indicate N/A)
Column Headers
Name / Status in the Country they reside / Dates status obtained outside Canada / Status in Canada / Dates Status obtained inside Canada
My arrival date in Canada Feb 2006
Family residing in Canada from August 2007
They are Citizen Since Dec 2011
this question is sooooo confusing ??? what r we supposed to write in status obtained outside canada ?? I have written the status outside canada as citizenship in my home country and date is my date of birth. I do not know if i did it right :
Status in country they reside = your family resides in Canada and you said they have citizenship. So status would be "citizen"
Date status obtained outside Canada = if you have never obtained immigration status in another country, then I believe the date would be your date of birth.
Status in Canada = citizen
Date status obtained inside Canada = date they became citizens

I agree. For the status outside Canada= i would put not applicable because they do not reside outside Canada. If they reside outside Canada then they must have a status in the country where they reside either a citizen, temporary resident, permenent resident, etc.
If you are not 100% clear on any question, just attach a supplementary note explaining your situation. Do not stress too much.
