HELP!! New Passport Requested

Hi,

I have just received a request for an updated passport (mine has 5 months left, they need 6), I have been given 7 days to upload my new passport to the CIC but I am in Canada and the process takes a minimum of 4 weeks to get a new passport from the UK...Has anyone got any advice? What should I do, I have sent off the application but there is no way it will be back in 7 days!!!!

Reply and ask for an extension. Show that you have applied for the new passport and the current processing time.

You can get a passport done in a day, it costs 120 pounds, or did in 2012. Google it, you have to go to the passport centre closest to you and wait the whole day.

Thank you, you're right you can get a fast-track done if you are in the UK, but I am in Canada so I have to wait for the postal services to deliver etc :-/
