I'm posting this question for a friend.
His status:
- On CPT in the US
- Has to leave the US by 6/30
- Has Canadian PR visa (EE FSW)
- COPR paper lists US as current country of residence
- Received 2 doses of Pfizer and 1 booster of Moderna (Canada approved vaccines)
His plan:
- Go to Mexico for 3 months for leisure
- Then permanently settle in Canada
His concern:
- If going to Mexico first, will be traveling from a country other than what's said on COPR
His Question:
- Will he be allowed to enter Canada to activate PR following the Mexico trip?
- Any other possible/foreseeable issues?
