Since that day, the status of application is: "Waiting for treatment". Is that normal? I updated passport numbers today and status shows "Waiting for treatment" again.

Depends which geographical quota the applicant falls under. Is s/he an inland (Quebec) or outland applicant? If outland, from which country? Processing times can dramatically vary between different geographical categories.
