Dear Seniors,
I am currently working in Canada as a cook in Penticton,B.C.i came here on last 2014 October.i gave ielts exam on November 21
and i got overall 5.5.I have a valid job offer and LMIA so my question is am i eligible to apply PR through Express Entry.
I would be really appreciated if someone could answer my question.

You need 6 band in all for applying under EE.

Hi Rabinji,

I don't have info about that but you can use this tool http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp.

You can create profile in mycic and once you submit your profile it will give you the result.

The minimum English requirements remains 6.0 band across all the modules.

you are good to go for canadian experience class . check the minimum requirement in CIC website...ielts 5.5 is enough for CEC category....but you should nt have score less than 5.5 in any of the 4 tests..make sure your noc is B as a cook..you can go ahead..

check it..reading you need 5 and the rest 5.5 minimum for noc B.
