Hello everyone
Would like to seek some advice
I applied my PR in march 2013 under Ainp , medical done
File status in Process , but the company i was working for is going to bankrupt !!
Does this affect my PR ??
Yes, your company and you are obliged to tell PNP if your job situation changes. They might choose to give you a grace period to look for a similar job before they retract your nomination.
But...it has been almost 24 months since CIC received your application. Have you not heard from them at all or is this a delay that you had expected or know the cause of? If you don't know why the delay is, I suggest you call CIC or contact your MP if you reside in Canada. That is not a normal timeline!

i gues Delta is right.. after medical they dont have anything to do with any paper work or phone interview.. so they just need is landing fee and police report and then ppr so better to stay quite and wait ..
Is the position different but with the same education and experience requirements? If yes and your duties are roughly at the same load, your nomination might be continued. I have heard that they are not that eager to take away your nomination either, if the conditions above don't change but your position does(such as a promotion)
I am not sure if you are working through an LMIA assessed WP and what kind of complexity it would bring to your situation.. The guy that changed his position while nominated was working on a Post-Graduate WP..and it was in BC
So i applied on a manager position , but now my company is shutting off , they are giving me this opportunity with my companies other banner but sales associate role but my employer is the same ,
Now this would affect my situation ??
