Help me about selection of visa

I had resister to ESL(English as an secondary language) program.and probably get my acceptance within a month.The program duration is of six month, i would like to ask that for what type of visa i will apply, either for visit visa or for student visa.and also if any body have a knowledge about "student authorization" share with me.As far i concern i m not eligible for student visa.plz guide me

If you are going for six month course then you should apply for visitor visa.
