HI,
I was planning for higher education in Canada but confused between Masters and PG Diploma in Canada. I have been to various consultant here at my place but everyone one is having their on take on each course. Some want me to pursue PG Diploma and some of them want me to pursue Masters. I'm confused as which way to go either PG diploma or master's. Kindly have a look at my profile :
1. B.Tech(CSE) - 62%
2. 10+2(State) - 64%
3. 10th (CBSE) - 52%
4. 4-years work experince as software developer
5. IELTS 7.0 overall band(NO band less than 6.5)
Based on my profile kindly suggest what would a better in your opinion between MS and PG Diploma. And which of two will be helpful in boosting my career in future.
Kindly reply
Thank you
give first preference for masters....the job market for graduates in cse is high in canada...give first preference to masters. If you find it difficult to get into an university then try applying for pg diploma courses in good institutes..
@venky7x7 thank for replying . I would like to ask based on my profile what are the chances of getting an admit into Mater's and how about the visa part how does it go ?
It all depends on the university you want to attend. Check them up online and then check their requirements for the specific program you are interested in. It's better to do the Masters. In any case you have to be accepted by the university first before you start the visa application.
@vader26 Thanks for replying. I know that if have an acceptance from any university only then i can file my application. But my question was If I get an admit for MS from university then if I apply for visa what are my chances of getting the visa.
