here the situation is my wife is from Canada and i am from Pakistan few days back we married in Pakistan now she went back to Canada
i just want to ask we are going to submit our forms for my sponsorship but there are few things i am confused
1, does she need married declaration some where else in Canada before submit the application (she lives in Toronto)
2, she already has 2 kids one is 8 years and 2nd is 13 years old her she was widow before...she is getting her widow pension from service Canada
after marriage declaration she will have or that will stop from service Canada
she will need to tell revenue canada she is married, but that doesn't impact the sponsorship process... i personally changed one piece of id to show my married name (health card was the easiest)... just wanted to.. it's a not a necessity, but i think it does help show it's a genuine marriage if you're making the "normal" steps... as long as your marriage is a legally recognized one in canada and you have the proper documentation you can apply.. .
no, pension isn't welfare... only social assistance (welfare) is prohibited... the pension plan itself may have some caveat that it does not continue if she remarries, but that is a separate issue that she should check on
