Hello, ive posted before here about my problem but its been 2 months and i was just wondering if anyone knows how long is it going to take to get an answer back from ircc, my mother sponsored me ( im a green cad holder living in usa ) we sent the application by mail on july 3rd 2020 and was recieved july 4th 2020, but we still havent heard a single word or a file number, i was recently deported for accidently overstaying ( after my refugee claim was denied based on 3rd world country agreement between usa and canada ) and i ledt on february 2020. So was just wondering if anyone knows how long is it gonna take to get a word back its going to be almost going to be 6 months with no answer back. Please someone help me, thank u .

Right now IRCC is sending notifications for April and May applications. So it will most likely be a few more months before you hear something.

How long would u estimate it would take to get the final word about approval or denial ? I havent seen my family in so long im broken i want to apply for temporary resident permit at the border but im scared

1. Normally about 1 year for processing, but with COVID who knows.
2. You can't apply for a visa (TRV) at the border, you have to apply on line.

Hello , not a trv its a trp its temporary resident permit not a visa

Hey scylla hopefully im not bothering you but I just wanted ur opinion ! Good news I just received my file number for the application, what u think i should do and whats the next steps do u think and how long would u estimate ?
