I'm starting to gather things I need to apply for CEC.
I have scattered work experience, some pay stubs show how many hours I worked, others show only the amount I get paid, and some I only got the T4 slip.
Is there anyway to specify the hours to add up to my 1 year experience?
I presume you were on an open work permit (or PGWP)?
the Letter(s) of Employment from your supervisor(s) must specify the exact start and end dates, and the # hours worked per week (see the Document Checklist for all the requirements).
Another question, yes I have a Post Graduate open work permit, which expires in Oct this year, and I am just starting to collect all the documents I need because of my unstable work experience. I know that the processing time could take about one year, so what should I do in the period of time after my work permit's expired and before I hear anything back regarding immigration?
1) If you find another job you can get another work permit,
2) If you have enough money in the bank and/or family, you can apply to stay as a visitor (no work)
3) You can leave Canada and go "home" - it is not required to stay in Canada for CEC.
