I need your help I am in process of sponsoring my wife for Canada. Can anyone explain me do I need marriage registered in Mumbai or I can make affidavit my bro sponsor his wife on nikkah nama and affidavit 4 years ago. I don’t know the law has change or they still accept the application on affidavit. I have all other documents such as marriage wedding card, wedding and honey moon pictures, all bills from hotel,our phone history and my wife has my name on her passport as spouse. Will all this be enough or I still need marriage certificate from municipal corporation mumbai. Please help me and I so stressed
