Hey,can anyone advise me on this issue if you have faced a similar situation... My passport does not have a surname mentioned, instead there is a given name which is "My name + Father's name".
Now issue is that I have seen online including on the embassy website that if you do not have surname then the entire given name in passport will be used as surname for visa and the first name will be either left blank or written as "FNU".I assume this will create issues in future with all related documents.
Moreover, in my IELTS TRF...family name is blank and my entire name is mentioned in "First name" section.
So I would like to know if I go in for a passport re-issue and ask to split(Name Bi-furcation) given name as My name and Father's name as surname...will it cause a major issue?
