Hi,
I reside in Quebec, and I am planing to apply the sponsorship of the parents. However, I do not meet the financial requirement for the last year and before, I can meet the requirement for the 2017 and after because I got a outstanding job this year.

I was told that I do not need to be "financial qualified" due to I am residing in QUEBEC at the moment of applying to federal. and there is only 12 month tax report since I apply for KIT B instead of 3 years which the federal residents will need.

is that true???

Even if Quebec rules are still just 1 year, that means you won't get your 2017 tax return back until sometime in 2018 so the earliest you can apply is January 2019.

Also Quebec may change it's rule to require 3 years income to match the federal rules, at any time.

If you live in Quebec, you only need to show proof that you have met LICO for one year. Only CRA NOAs are accepted. This means that if you want to apply in 2017, you must have met LICO in 2015. If you want to apply in 2018, you must have met LICO in 2016.

However, my friend told me the different way.
He was in the similar situation of mine. His lawyer told him that he is qualified to apply the federal sponsorship firstly because federal will not judge her income as he was residing in QUEBEC. He must meet the 1 year Financial requirement when he receive the decision from the federal and when he apply the KIT B and CSQ.

He is doing that he got the CSQ last year.

is this way can still applied on my case?

Same situation my 2016 income is good to apply for 2017 but cic mention 2015 income for 2017 applications
Im wonder why in Quebec immigration website mention last 12 months?
If last 12 months its have to be 2016 income?
Confused!!!
Please suggest thanks
