Pretty much have my application done, but I'm a little confused as to which fees I pay, as I'm going to pay online.

I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my spouse from Moldova.

Under the "Family Class" section there is the

1.) Sponsorship application (per application) $75

2.) Principal applicant $475

3.) Principal applicant who is under 19 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship (not applicable to us I think).

4.) Spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner $550

5.) Family member of the principal applicant who is under 19 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship OR is 19 years of age or older who has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 19 due to a physical or mental condition

6.) Fee subject to a transitional provision - Family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older

7.) Fee subject to a transitional provision - Family member of the principal applicant who is under 22 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship OR is 22 years of age or older who is unable to be financially self-supporting due to physical or mental condition

8.) Right of Permanent Residence Fee $490

I assume we have to pay no. 1 and 2, do I also as a Canadian sponsor have to pay no.4? Do we pay no.8 as well?

if you are sponsoring only spouse and there are no dependants
You have to pay $550 ( 475 + 75 ) at the time of filing. You can optionally pay the RPRF fee $490 also or at a later time when requested.

You will pay:

#1 sponsorship application $75
#2 principal applicant $475
#8 RPRF $490

Total is $1040. The pay schedule is confusing because it mentions a spouse category, but this would be used if both spouses are not PR and are applying for another area of PR.

innosense and tink23 are both correct. I would add (suggestion only) to pay the RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fee) now if you can afford to or as soon as you can before CIC has to request it. I have read on this forum that for this simple admin. task to have to be initiated by CIC, it can add a few months to your processing time. We paid all fees up front and I believe it helped to ensure no needless delays our file. The fewer reasons CIC has to "touch" your file, the better. Blessings.
