HELP! Biometrics during COVID-19

Hello there! I’ve been accepted to a university program in Toronto, and my partner will join me. We applied yesterday for a Study Permit and an Open Work Permit. We have submitted all our documents. The biometrics centre is closed in our country because of COVID. I am worried that this will delay the process. Is it recommended to travel to another country to do Biometrics there to speed up the process? We are in Israel, I am British, and we are considering going to Greece to do the Biometrics. I have been accepted to study for two years from September 1st 2021. Thank you very much for your help in advance.
