i posted one thread before about the transcript. i am in sydney and studied one private commercial cookery college which had shut down. i tried to collect the transcript but i couldnt caz they told me once the college shutdown there is no way i can get my transcript back. i spoke sydney iternational vocational institute they told me if the college is owned by a private owner there is no way they keep any record. so i think i am in trouble. i have my original copy with me but i am worried that if i notorise that and submitt, is that accepatble or they return my application. please if any body have any idea please share.
When u remove xerox u can remove black & white copy or a colour copy. I suggest u remove a colour copy since all seals are clearly visible because if Visa officer is not convinced if u send a black & white copy he could ask u to submit the ORIGINALS. In my case I purchased a colour printer especially for this task and all my docs send across were colour photo copy though there is no such standing instructions.
But the good part was not a single additional docs were requested from me.
hi all,
thanks for the quick reply i really appreciate u gys. but still i hav a question as the requirement i need to submitt my transcript in college sealed envelop........ so i dont have that .what u recon
In my humble opinion, as long as you have the original transcript you can make a notarized copy, write a cover letter, in which you should state the fact that the college shut down. It is not your fault, and the guys from the VO should be aware that in time things can change. Was that college accredited by the Australian goverment or any other educational institution, prior to the owner's decision to shut down?
thanks for ur humble reply and i m honoured. yes the college was Under Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students ( cricos). And they cancelled the licence of that college. i called them and they said once college is shutdown if that is private own there is no chance to get a new transcript.
