Currently by the grace of God, i got my visa stamped and i may plan in septemeber to move in canada. I have almost 8 to 10 years experience in risk management especially operational risk management and i also did certification of Financial Risk Manager (FRM) too along with my MBA finance. I wanted to know about the canadian job market w.r.t this occupation and would i be able to get job easily or also need to do any licencse education to get a good job? If yes then what license etc.
You might wanna check out the career map in CSI (Canadian securities institute) website, it gives you a list of both required and recommended coruses/certificates in the finance sector:
You should also check from CIC website if your designation is regulated or not, because if it is, you must have a local certificate to work in that area.

Hi, there are tons of opportunities for you in Toronto, Canada's financial capital. Risk management isn't a rgulated occupation and your FRM is an advantage depending on how you play it.
I'd recommend a little training when you land with employment assistance agencies like Acces Emplopyment, COSTI etc and then you should sign up with the top finance sector recruiting firms like Robert Half, Lannick Group, International Finance Group, David Aplin, Hays Recruitment, etc. Please look these up and more via Google.

Thanks dear i checked risk management is not a regulated profession. It means that no license would be required but additional qualification like canadian securities course may add value.........
