I am a permanent resident of Canada but I haven’t received my pr card yet. Am I able to sponsor my spouse with my landing paper thank you ( also I do have prtd in my passport)
What's your timeline with your PR and your marriage? If you were married prior to landing, was your spouse a non-accompanying member on your own PR application?
I don't know the answer to your original question but had to ask about the timing of your marriage and PR because many err by marrying before landing and not declaring their spouse and essentially ruining their chances to ever sponsor their spouses in the future.
Congrats on your PR. I'll be watching for the answer to your question. This is a very helpful community here.

I just had a talk with immigration consultant and he said landing paper is enough to sponsor because it’s a real document to prove that I am a resident and pr card is a travel document
