Good day!
I got admit for MISSM program in CUCA - Aug/Sept-13 intake. I have few questions that I would like to clear. Your help is much appreciated.
1. Do we get Masters Degree from Univ of Alberta?
2. I decided to pay 1 sem fee while we apply for Visa. Is that a good idea?
My profile:
Btech 65% CSE
7 Backlogs
IELTS 7
Do you think I can get the Visa? Please help!!!
Thank you All,
I hope you're all having good time!
Have a blessed day!
Warm Regards,
Nitin Reddy
1. No - you won't get a Masters from the University of Alberta. The University of Alberta and CUCA are two completely different schools.

IMHO, it is mandatory. Otherwise you will not get a letter of acceptance from the university to get your study permit at Visa Office.

Thank you for your response. Considering the fact that I got no admits from the Univs.. is it worthwhile to study Masters at this college? Am I wasting my time?
I hope MISSM at CUCA is far better than PG Diploma at any college(my next option). Am I not correct?
Please help!
Thanks so very much!!

Thanks so much. I found your answer very much helpful. I guess I should go ahead with this college. Do you think it's worthwhile.
Warm Regards,
Have a good rest of your day!
Even if in Canada they do not rate education institutions as they rate them in the US, look at the college. Is is the state or private? I would not take a risk with private.

I too have applied for MISSM for september batch.
I wish i get admission. How much time CUCA takes in accepting a student??
I guess it is a well known course "http://vueweekly.com/education/story/concordias_missm_is_protection_in_a_digital_age/". Although CUCA is a private university, but it is accredited by AUCC "http://www.aucc.ca/canadian-universities/our-universities/".
Getting Visa should be easy as ours would be a 2 years degree course. An added advantage is we would definitely get 3 years PGWP
"http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/work-postgrad-who.asp".
Moreover Edmonton,Alberta is a great place to live in.
I have 66.04% ECE 4 backlogs 8 bands in IELTS one year experience in IS.
