I'll be working in a volunteer position, with wild animals, for 3 months.
Is there any health insurance I can buy temporarily?
xx
Talk to your host organization to see if they could assist you with that. Otherwise, contact insurance company for travel health insurance.
Do you have a work permit valid for at least 1 year? If so, you may be eligible for provincial health coverage.
In BC, you can apply after the third month for the MSP

In my province you(and your dependants) are eligible on the day you arrive if your work permit is valid for at least 1 year.

To SeñoritaBella: Are you in Alberta?
To the OP: As one of the posts mentioned you can get a travel insurance to cover you for the time you won't be covered by government health care.
