I applied for PR in September 2019 with Express Entry. I currently live and work in Quebec with a closed work permit expiring in January 2020. I found a job in Alberta and applied for a new closed WP.
Until my new WP comes, I have implied status and can continue working for my current employer in Quebec. I am not eligible to receive RAMQ (Quebec Public Health Coverage) after my current WP ends. I can move to Alberta, but will not be able to work until new WP or CoPR is issued. Therefore, I wish to remain and work in QC, until I receive my new WP or CoPR.
My PR is estimated to arrive in March 2020, and my new work permit also around the same time.
What options do I have for medical/health/emergency coverage?
