Hi folks,

We are planning to move to Calgary in August from india under express entry.

had a quick query on health insurance..

- we will be eligible for Government health insurance after 3 months of landing, right?

- Would we require a private health insurance for the 1st 3 months? is it mandatory?

I'd suggest contacting Alberta health care first. Many times, depending on circumstances, coverage in Alberta starts the day of arrival.
