Does anybody have experience with this? We are planning for my sister to study in the HCA program (8-12 months depending on which combo would you choose) at a private institution. We were told that she can work but her spouse cannot have an open work permit because the DLI is not PGWP eligible. What about the child (almost 5 years old)? Can I hire her right after graduation to be a nanny for my son? Thanks for the insights.

So when she graduates she will not be eligible for a PGWP, correct? So she will not be able to work. What about her som. Her child can come as a visitor but if program is private and not PGWP eligible then cannot attend school. Husband can come as a visitor too. What is the school and program? Why not a public DLI and take at least a 2 year program?

You need to find an employer. Start looking on facebook or talk to immigration lawyers
