I have already submitted my study permit application along with the CAQ for May session, due to further medical tests it is highly unlikely that i could make it for May session....My question is
If CHC asks i will defer for September session.
Secondly
Do i have to apply for CAQ again for September session.............

Hi,
1. It's not a refusal case, so no need to apply again. Your CAQ is valid for the full course duration (subject to maximum 4 years). You need only letter of deferral.
Hey Momi - how did your re-medical go?

Re medical all reports OK
Reply from QUEBEC STUDY Office ...........
Bonjour,
If you obtain a CAQ for studies for the fall semester and you postpone your arrival by one semester, you do not have to submit a new application for a CAQ for studies.
For any other postponement, you must submit a new application for a CAQ for studies.
Now what to do.....................

Sorry bro. I dont have idea on it. But just sharing my thought.
Why not to reply that email indicating your current situation ( study permit postpone) with subject weather you will have to apply again or not for CAQ?
I described them that due to further medical tests i have to defer to September and they replied as above...........

Hi,
1. Your CAQ is valid for at least 49 months.
If you meet the prerequisites, a Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) for studies will be issued in your name. The CAQ is generally valid for the duration of your study program up to a maximum of 49 months.

Enfield you are right but i want to clarify some thing that
My current CAQ is for May session and due to medicals i have to defer to September. In this case will the current CAQ is enough or have to apply for a new one for September session as the website states
NOTE: If you obtain a CAQ for studies for the fall semester and you postpone your arrival by one semester, you do not have to submit a new application for a CAQ for studies. For any other postponement, you must submit a new application for a CAQ for studies.
and this is the answer given to me by Quebec representative........

Hi,
1. Your CAQ is valid for the next intake because most likely your case is heading for deferral, not for refusal. You need a new CAQ in case of refusal.
2. Choice would be yours either to trust your Quebec representative or to follow information on the official website of Quebec Govt.
