I recently travelled back to India not knowing that I need work Visa to re-enter Canada. The situation is I have a student visa which expires after 3 months from now. Can I travel back to Canada using my Student Visa on having Post Graduate Work Permit. ?
Please help need to go back to resume my job.
Your post doesn’t really make sense either you have a PGWP which is a work permit or you don’t. Assume you have a valid TRV. To travel back to Canada ?

Does make sense if you have completed your studies before your Student Visa Expires and apply for Open Work Permit
Eg: Got 2 year Study Permit and Student Visa but finished my Studies in 1 years so my Student Visa is still valid and after applying for Work Permit your Study Permit is invalid anymore

Your study permit expires 90 days after your graduation or once you leave Canada. Whichever is earlier.
Your student permit is no longer valid. You can check it on your CIC application page and go to your student permit application file, it will say that it is no longer valid. Not the date printed on the paper copy.
Your visa on your passport is stamped as a student visa, you cannot use it for a work permit. You need to get a new TRV. You need entry as a worker not a student

Study Permit and Student Visa is two separate things..
I have travelled with Student Visa with a Valid Open Work Permit from India to Canada without any problems
TRV is the same it doesnt matter if its printed student/worker etc on it. This thread is from 2018!
