I am confused if I have been sponsored myself. So basically, I immigrated to Canada last Jan 2019. My mom applied through live-in care giver program and was the principal applicant and I was a accompanying dependent (along with my sister). Fast forward, I am trying to sponsor my common-law and I am filling out the common-law checklist. There's a part that asks, "Have you (the sponsor) previously been sponsored yourself for permanent residence". I am confused if I should write my mom as the sponsor or not.
Please help!

The answer is no. You weren't sponsored. You were a dependent in your mother's application.

Were you common law when you immigrated to Canada?
