Have been waiting for 2 months for AOR on Common-Law application

My partner and I sent our application at the beginning of December and according to our Royal Mail tracking number it was received in Mississauga on Dec. 17th. We have not heard a word from them and I am starting to get extremely worried as we haven't even received AOR. I asked to be contacted via e-mail so I thought that we would have definitely heard by now. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I have sent two e-mail enquiries to no avail. My partner and I are both living in the UK so unfortunately we haven't been able to get through to the CIC call centre either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There's a lot of applicants that never received an AOR. You will probably hear something from them when they approve or deny the sponsorship. Check the sponsor's email, that's where they send everything before transferring the file to the local VO.
