My passport is expiring in Aug 2020. I received ITA and applied for PR using existing passport. Few sites suggested that if I get the VISA stamped on my existing passport, it will only be valid till Aug 2020. So suggestion is to get my passport renewed. I have applied for the renewal.
My questions are
1. I am supposed to get my renewed passport in next 10 days. What should be my next step, Do I need to send my new passport copy to CIC?
2. When I am asked to send my passport for visa stamp, Do I have to send both passport or the new one should be good enough?
