Has xxx applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada before? (required)

I submitted express entry application 2-3 years ago but was not selected, now I want to create a new one and it asked me this question
Has (my name) applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada before? (required) and if I say yes, it asks for my express entry file number, where I can find that?

i believe if you havent received ITA, the answer is a no
