Has anyone received an offer or gotten a job through the job bank? Or has anyone applied for an advertised position through the job bank and gotten an offer...especially people from outside Canada?
I have applied for 20+ but heard nothing in return. Job Bank is purely for employers to advertise their LMIA jobs. The whole system is flawed and that's why the drop in points is so good. We actually stand a chance!

How is the system flawed? CIC can't force an employer to employ you and the jobs are open to everyone so there's no telling how many persons apply. You may not be the best candidate. That's no reason to call the system flawed. It would be great if the replied to every applicant but sometimes that's just not possible. Generally speaking where I'm from (not Canada) job advertisements state that only short listed applicants will be contacted so it's not even strange to not hear back.
At the end of the day, it wont matter how many jobs you apply to. You only need you. You could get lucky!

The Job Bank is for employers to advertise any and all jobs (if they so wish), and has been for years.) *Anyone* can apply: i.e. You are competing with Canadians, PRs, etc. Its not just for potential immigrants and never has been.
Many employers advertise jobs in local/regional/provincial publications and job sites, as well as or instead of the Job Bank.
