Has anyone successfully got their pr with 2 duis? I am wondering if it is even worth to try. They are both over 30yrs and according to hubby one has no conviction as it was dropped to moving violation and no jail time served on either. One shows up on fbi check as accepted and or arrested. Went to court house to get records but they were long purged and so there is no court documents to prove outcome. Same with driving records. Just wonder if anyone has gone thru this and if a positive outcome can come of this. He is from usa.
You probably want to study http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/inadmissibility/conviction.asp as it will apply on the DUI. The possible solutions are documented there. I suspect that "deemed rehabilitation" may well apply in this case.
