My friend has a professional doctorate in Psychology from the UK, when she got her report from WES she was given a postgraduate research with a recommendation that her thesis should be verified by the appropriate body.
A professional doctorate in Psychology should give her a PhD because she has the "Dr" title but she cant claim this in her profile.
Have you or do you know anyone who has done an ECA with a professional doctorate and what did you or they get as the Canadian equivalent?
On an aside, having a PhD Vs Masters degree makes a difference of 14 points (married PA) or 15 points (single PA). If your friend is scoring more than 460 already, there will be little utility in chasing WES for those additional points. If they are below 450, this would definitely be worth it (assuming, of course, that WES revises their initial ECA report).
