Yes but only just, so files are still awaiting first stage approval and haven't gone to Sydney yet. Nerve wracking! I hope those lovely Sydney staff are on fine form in a few weeks.....

Unfortunately for me my partner called our relationship off a month ago because the process is too hard and he just cannot cope with it anymore. Needless to say I am totally heart broken and my heart still trying to mend. Very hard knowing that he still loves me but just cannot deal with the pressure of Immigration anymore.

No, he has made up his mind to call off our relationship. I guess at the end of the day I was not worth it

I would do anything to change his mind and show him that we can do this together. If you find a cure for a totally broken heart, please let me know.

I am sry to hear about your story. Its really painful becoz i have also gone through this myself.

I met my wife online 6 yrs ago online.Than i visited India and USA to meet her and we both like eachother.

got married when i visited canada this yr in feb.

Good news is this she coming to NZ in first week of aug for 4 weeks so i am very happy .

I am sacred also whether my file will be approved or not .but hope for the best

Hi Aucknz, how come you have "meds requested" in your timeline? I thought we were supposed to send meds upfront for outland applications via Sydney?

Oh, sorry to hear that. We were about to give up with the process and documents complication that took a lot of times and compiled! My husband is impatient with all types of paper works but me. We've been travelling a lot and moving a lot, so that's a lot of documents, but finally we've done it half way now

I think you may ask him to file when you guys land in Canada together? Even though the process might take longer time than here but the two show loving each other? I know that this is a lot of works and the timeline of waiting process, esp in Canada but part of that is to show the IO how much love and patient of the couple will be in this waiting timeline.
