Did you apply for PRTD in India? can you please update on the timings? Below is the reply I got from VFS and no replies from the Canadian HIgh commission regarding processing timings.

YES. I applied for PR TD in Bangalore, VFS Global office on 4th June and it was approved and couriered from Delhi (Canadian High Commission) on 10th June. Must have all the documents in order, while submitting the application. Good Luck

That was real quick. Do I have to submit to the VFS only or I can submit directly to the consulate?

Hi Kuttykutty, Did the CIC ask for any specific reason why you need PRTD? Any idea if there is any chance for rejection of PRTD application for newly landed immigrants who haven't received the PR card yet but had to travel out of Canada for some reason? please let me know...

My grandfather PR Card Expired in April 2014. I would like to apply PRTD . I will get visa or not. Please advice.

1. As from your previous post, he hasn't been in Canada for nearly 5 years, so unless there is an overwhelming need for him to have stayed away, it is unlikely that he will get a PRTD.
2. You said in your previous post, your sister was applying for a visitor visa (TRV) for him, it won't be issued, unless he gives up his PR status.
