Dear friends,

The submission of a clear, organized application could help to ensure a quick processing and successful conclusion of the case. Proper management of propably a 100 or more documents between forms, evidences, explanation letters..., either for the main applicant, spouse, children or even documents related to another person in Canada to claim the relative points.

What is the best way to present these information? Is it to sort them by name and repeart with every person or by document type and collect all persons under the same document. Should we stick a paper over each folder to explain the contents of that folder. Should we staple every form papers together or file each group in a plastic folder and put a heading of content. How can we make easier for the person in VO to go through such a big and complicated application.

Any input is much appreciated.

this is what i am doing... i am writing a cover letter to explain all updates/forms/documents sumitted. this letter will serve as a catalogue as well.
secondary all portions (forms, police clearanance certificates, work exp, education, civil status documents etc) are seperated by a colored sperator and i have printed all documents enclosed on each seperator...

hope it helps

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/federal_worker_hints-conseils_travailleur_federal.aspx?lang=eng

Submit your completed application and all supporting documents together in one package.

Do not send any documents or request other agencies to send any documents to this office before you submit your complete application package and you have received your Acknowledgment of Receipt letter showing the Buffalo Visa Office file number. This pertains to all documents - and includes:
- results of language tests (IELTS, CELPIP, TEF)
- police certificates
- education documents (transcripts, diplomas, etc.)

Your file number at Buffalo will begin with a "B", and will be different from any file number assigned by any other Canadian Government office.

Quote the Buffalo Visa Office file number in all correspondence with the Visa Office processing your application.

Any documents submitted not in accordance with these instructions will be returned to the address from which they were submitted or, if there is no address given, may be destroyed.

Place immigration photos in an envelope and staple the envelope to the second page of the application being careful not to put a staple through the photos.

Use no binders, page protectors, report covers, etc; Avoid excessive use of paper clips. If the application has numerous supporting documents, please use an elastic band. Do not submit documents in separate envelopes.

Sign the declaration on page four of IMM 0008 Schedule 1.
