Hamilton CIC Office Landing Wait time?

Morning folks.. Has anyone done their landing at the CIC Hamilton office? Called to book an appointment yesterday and agent said between a 2-6 week wait time (however, they have been known to be grossly wrong).

Told me if I wanted to land at the border to inform them to cancel the request.
On the other hand she told me I couldn't walk-in the Ottawa office (2nd/4th Tuesday monthly) for landing cause that's not the nearest office to my postal code.

As of now waiting to be contacted by CIC Hamilton.
