I used to have a H1B visa stamp in my old non Canadian passport. The visa has since expired. I currently have a Canadian passport and a 797 approval.

What is the process to enter the US via land and via air?

1) Does one require a H1B visa stamp from the US consulate in Canada?
2) Can I enter using my Canadian passport and 797 by both land and air?
2) If I need a stamp from the US consulate, how long does it take? Is drop box possible even though the passport has changed?

You don't need a visa to enter the U.S! Your passport should get you the H1B status either at both port of entries.
