H1-B - Passport Renewed

Dear Members,

My wife works on H1-B visa in states and she recently renewed her passport.

1. Is that ok, that her new passport doesn't hold stamp of visa but the old one.
2. She is planing to visit Canada, will she get into issues while returning back to States, as her new passport does not have H1-B stamped but the old one.

Please suggest.

I think she has to carry both passports when travelling....

She can renew her passport. Both passports MUST be carried.
