Processing times are around 2 years and most processing doesn’t start until the 1+ yr mark so there is no need to file frequent GCMS notes. Sadly your file is sitting in a pile and nothing is happening to it. If in Quebec you’re looking at close to 4 years. H&C has become a very long process with minimal changes until 1.5 years for most.

No unless you really have exceptional circumstances. Given recent announcements many people will do this and IRCC either has already planned or will be forced to be very strict about parents applying for H&C. H&C is not meant to replace PGP. We have already seen parents get denied recently and filing H&C indicates they want to remain in Canada. If denied they will have difficulty even visiting Canada in the future.
Thats the reason i am very worried about my parents.I am only child and their Visitor visa is expired in 2026 . Now they are changing multiple 10 years visa also .So what is best way for them .

There is no easy or guaranteed pathway to PR. You should have been aware of this already. If parent sponsorship was guaranteed it would have been included with your PR application. When did you get PR? Move to Canada?

You only recently moved to Canada while also knowing that parent sponsorship was not even a possibility for over 3 years and demand far exceeds limited amount of spots. You need a longterm plan for your parents whether they have to live in their home country or whether they eventually get the opportunity to apply for PR which could be 10+ years with no guarantees. Your parents are also not alone in their home country they have each other which is typically a consideration for H&C as well.
