guys whats the diff between ontario college graduate certificate and pg diploma

i have got this 2 year program in centennial college but its says its a ontario college graduate certificate
where as i want to do a pg diploma are those the same thing

Canadian Pg diploma / certificate is NOT equalvent to MBA and doesnot hold valid credition in our motherland.

Title clarification
Ontario post graduate certificate is equalvent to canadian post degree diploma/ post graduate diploma. Different provinces have different titles.
Both offer 30 credit in most cases

However post degree diploma or post baccaulerate diploma or post grad diploma are designed to be capstone (value addition course ) building a foundation on bachelors. Hence you may receive an advance standing in your masters programme. Only BC , manitoba and alberta offers this designation. Ontario college graduate certificate being practical in nature(vocational) may not help you with advance standing in masters.

Canadian education is very very conservative and your grades matter a lot in getting into universities (minimum 60%) for low ranked university. Generally majority of the canadian population study masters i.e. university post graduation if they really want to enahnce their overall education. College post grad is more than enough to fetch a direct job. Only the brightest of the lot aspire to study masters /mba.

Canada doesnt have mba colleges spring up in every nook and corner and graduating from their courses are pretty difficult too. If and only if u are ready to settle in canada / usa , donot mind that your course may not be recognised back home incase you dont get residency than only go ahead. Or else if you have funds and are eligible to apply for masters, than go for it. For masters are always universally recognised in unregulated professions irrespective of any country.

so if i go for garaduate certificate i can find a decent job in HR and also apply for PR right cos on the website they only mention about diploma and degree not the certificates
