Hello
I wanted to apply for Visitor Visa for June 21- July 2 from India. Prior to the strike, the processing time was 18 days. I'll apply latest by 1st or 2nd of May. So I would have about 45 days. Are my travel dates too close by? Does it affect my case adversely? In case I do not get my visa by my travel date, I plan to raise a webform and update my travel dates to October 19-29 ( as my next vacation is then) along with a new Invitation Letter, NOC etc. That would not have an adverse impact, would it?

Or shall I directly apply for October only? However, given it is almost 6 months away, I was not too keen for it.

Kindly suggest.

Thank You
