Is it possible for a 56-year old Filipino but a Canadian citizen already for almost 20 years to sponsor her grandchildren in the Philippines?
She could sponsor them if they were under 18 and orphans. But we already know from your previous posts that they aren't orphans.
The only other way the grandmother can sponsor them is if the grandmother has no living husband/partner, no living children, no living brothers or sisters and no living aunts and uncles.
Thank you...the father of the children already passed away. That's why they are giving a thought of sponsoring the children. However, the grandmother in Canada has children but have family of their own. she's living alone there.
She doesn't qualify to sponsor her grandchildren.
Thank you for your response...God bless!
