i would like to know about the SIN number, we applied for the Spousal work permit extension, did flagpole from the USA side and returning back to CBSA border there we applied and we were lucky enough to get it. however after one or two week we went to the Service canada they said your SIN hasn't been issued yet or May be the application hasn't been entered into our system yet. and one More thing I also applied my PGWP at the border and i linked that application to my CIC account but when i Tried to link my Spouse's application to its CIC account then it is not found in their System.

The most likely situation is that the CBSA officer at the border did not update your immigration information to IRCC. You may have to call CBSA and check or maybe go back to the border and ask them.
You will need to look it up on google because there is alot of CBSA offices and each one has a different number. And yes you can call them first and ask.
